Hi! My name is Max Turndorf and I am a junior public relations major with a minor in sports business at the University of Oregon.
Since the day I was born, my life has been centered around sports. As soon as my playing career was over, I immediately started working in the field. Working as a Communications Intern for the University of Oregon Athletic Department and as a Club Lacrosse Team Manager, I have put my love of sports into my career. My passion for sports has led me to study public relations with a minor in sports business.
In my time as a Communications Intern and Team Manager I have been able to grow my knowledge of statistics, social media strategies, and sports writing. My skills in teamwork, statistics, strategic thinking, and writing have continued to grow. Some things I excel in are collaborating with others, being creative, and organized while completing projects in time.
Outside of sports, I have worked for my dad’s company, Valencia Pipe Company, to expand my skills and grow knowledge in different fields. I am committed to growing my career in the sports world, but am also open to seeing what else is out there and continuing to learn new skills.
